Team India stumps Priyanka
Priyanka chopra was on her way
back after visiting her ailing father when she met the 15-men squad at the
Heathrow Airport, London recently. She can't stop raving about our men in blue
since then.
Talking about her experience she says, "I was quite touched by their gesture.
Needless to say, they have been following the news and asked me about my dad.
They wished him a speedy recovery."
Last month, Priyanka had attended a pre-World Cup do where she exchanged
pleasantries with them. However, she was most impressed by skipper Rahul Dravid.
this time around she happened to cook up a conversation with the otherwise shy
Dravid.
Priyanka says, "Dravid has always been my favourite. There's no two ways about
the fact that he's a wonderful cricketer. And I'm very hopeful of the boys
winning the cup."
The actress also mentioned her 18-year-old cricket-fanatic sibling Siddharth to
the cricketers who in no time got busy signing and penning a personal messages
on a blue T-shirt for the actress' sibling.
"I didn't know how to react when they gave me the tee with their autographs for
my brother. You had to see my brother's face when I handed him the tee. He
didn't know how to react either," she laughs
