Priyanka Chopra was into the judge panel of Miss India 2007. This was a great
day for her in her whole career. Infact, once she was standing there as a
participant and the judges were watching her and now she was watching the
participant.
This elegant lady believes that her career would have been nipped in the bud had
she not won the beauty pageant in 2000.
Miss India will always remain special for her. That's where it all started for
her. And maybe that's where it would've ended if she hadn't won the crown. So
realizes how important it is to win the Miss India contest.
Priyanka was exceedingly excited about judging this beauty pageant. In the
contest, she has the privilege of being on both sides of the stage. And she
believes how important it is to make the contestants feel comfortable. She was
as nervous about judging Miss India as she was about participating in it. This
was the first time Priyanka judged the beauty pageant.
Recently, she had the most memorable dinner of her life with the members of
Malaysia's royal family.
Priyanka, who was invited to flag off Sunday's Grand Prix in Sepang, dined with
King Syed Sirajuddin Putra Jamalullail and Queen Fauziah Abdul Rashid.
They were graciousness-personified and she had the most amazing evening with
them. The entertainment was subdued and sophisticated. There were some
incredible Malaysian singers. And the food was out of this world.
This was the formal inauguration dinner for the Grand Prix. Unfortunately she
couldn't stay for the actual flagging off of the race. As she had to be back to
judge the Miss India contest."
